Piggy Paint Review, Coupon & Giveaway CLOSED

I'm am so excited to have Piggy Paint as a part of Emma's Princess Birthday Event! I have been wanting to paint her toes for a while, but was so paranoid of her ingesting harmful chemicals so I never tried. Then I found Piggy Paint!

Piggy Paint is as Natural as Mud! It is free of harmful chemicals normally found in regular nail polish. Piggy Paint does NOT contain:

I received a bottle of GIRLS RULE magenta polish, perfect for my little princess!!! When I first received it, I immediately opened the bottle and smelled it. Normally, nail polish fumes make lightheaded, but this stuff did not have any fumes, and what little I did smell reminded me of finger paint.


I also received a bottle of Piggy Paint remover, which has a very low odor compared to nail polish remover I'm used to smelling. It is acetone free, hypoallergenic, made from natural ingredients, and biodegradable.

Since Emma is almost one, I really was nervous about painting her toenails. At this point, I wasn't even going to try to paint her fingernails, because they would have gone straight into her mouth. I'm not worried about her ingesting the polish since it's all natural, it just wouldn't have a chance to dry.

I'm happy to report that toenail painting went without incident! I sat Emma between my legs and painted her toenails quickly. Since Piggy Paint is water-based, it takes a little longer to dry. It is recommended that you use a hair dryer to dry quickly and avoid chipping, but I let them air dry. I did have touch up her toenails a bit when she was in her highchair. She took off crawling and rubbed some of the Piggy Paint on to my carpet. Normally, this would be a nightmare, but it came right up with a little water!


I was surprised that I didn't need to do more than 2 coats. Since it's water-based, I thought I would need at least 3 coats, maybe more.

Emma LOVES her pink piggies!!! I can't believe how much of a girlie-girl she is turning into. She knows she has pretties on her toes and is just in awe of them. And they are SO CUTE! I can't get over it!
